The Half Marathon Fleece Hoodie is sure to be one of your favorite race premiums ever! They come in white or light heather gray (you will have a choice as long as both colors are still available).

10k Finishers will receive an awesome short sleeve tech running shirt – the women’s style is a navy heather (hard to tell in the photo!) and the men receive a heather gray one.

2016 Medals

This year’s medal features McDowell Hall at St. John’s College, originally designed in 1742 as the Colonial Governor’s Mansion. Both Half Marathon and 10k Finishers receive medals (10k medal is slightly smaller).

Awards

Overall and Masters

A custom award will be presented to the top three overall male and female finishers and the top male and female masters runners. NO cash prizes are awarded.

Age Group Awards

The top three finishers in each age group will receive awards. Age groups are five year increments, from 15 and under to 70 and over.

Electronic Timing

The Annapolis Running Classic will use the B-Tag technology which offers runners a more streamlined race experience than the traditional chip system. On race day, the B-Tag remains on your bib to ensure that your time will be recorded.  In addition, there are no chips that need to be returned.

Tips to receiving your time and photos:

  • B-Tag remains on your bib
  • Race bib (number) is clearly visible on the front of the torso
  • Race bib is pinned in all four corners
  • Race bib is not covered (jackets, runner belts, water bottles, etc.)
  • We hate to state the obvious, but if discarding clothing along the course, make sure your bib isn’t attached to it

Race-Day Parking

Plenty of parking is available at the stadium starting at 5:00 am. We recommend arriving before 6:00 because of expected heavy traffic. Roads around the stadium will close around 6:45 am so you must be in the parking lot by 6:30 am. If you plan on picking up your bib before the race allow lots of time. There will be a heated, lighted tent for all runners to gather before the race. There will be no charge for runners to park.

When approaching the stadium from Rowe Boulevard, please follow signs and the directions of parking officials. Cars will be directed into the lot via both Farragut Road and Taylor Avenue, so use both lanes on Rowe Boulevard.
